I like to look.
To gaze upon the world for the first time.
And to try understanding and relating to the reality around me.

A picture is never just a picture.

To me photography reflects the things we carry within ourselves.
Trying to discover that which is hidden is a continual process.
And it is not always a simple one.

 

Quite often it is something which is lurking or slumbering, something I cannot describe but it is like a vibration when I see it - a spark which moves me. And creates a resonance.

 

The cracks are everywhere.
In things.
Places.
People.
I am looking for them.
For meetings which reveal.
Doubt, longing, horrors, magic.
A touch of life.
A sense of meaning.
An encounter with myself.
